The small photograph:
Harry Secombe, Michael Bentine, Peter Sellers, and Spike Milligan make a toast in Grafton's pub, 1951. The Goons The Story, page 12, and Roger Wilmut & Jimmy Grafton's The Goon Show Companion, plate 6, have a different photograph of this same scene (taken from slightly to the right, probably a few seconds earlier or later).

This photograph was first published in the Daily Express, Monday May 1, 1972, ? Press Association. This photograph and the companion Daily Express article can be found in The Goon Show Scripts, page 10. The middle-sized photograph:
